Hosted as part of the Fashion Revolution Week, this 90-minute virtual event asked a bold and timely question:

"Can fashion heal?"

At the heart of the conversation was HimGra — a wild Himalayan fiber redefining luxury through regeneration, innovation, and inclusion.

🎙️ Can Fashion Heal? — A Keynote by KD Sharma

In a powerful opening, co-founder DESCATUK KD Sharma reminded attendees of fashion’s climate cost — and its opportunity for renewal.

“We don’t just wear fashion. We live with its consequences. The real luxury today is regeneration.”
HimGra : Luxury for Purpose

He introduced HimGra as a fiber that consumes no water, uses no pesticides, and causes no land conflict with food crops. With its origins in wild, rain-fed grass and its fiber processed through a patented waterless technology, HimGra offers a real solution for luxury that restores.

The keynote also highlighted independent validation from J-PAL South Asia and Green, confirming HimGra’s environmental and social impact.
